ELIZABETH PURCELL

Elizabeth Purcell has been entertaining children since 1985, first as a clown, and now as Nanny

Buttercup. 

As “Clown Clara” she has done over 300 birthday parties, corporate picnics, many

local parks and recreation facilities, malls and schools, even a Kodak commercial..
 
She and her puppet friends have done a half - hour weekly program on local TV with Gil Berkins,
who has since passed away and is sadly missed.

Elizabeth is very familiar with the needs of children.  She has 6 grown children, 17 Grandchildren

And 3 Great Grandchildren.

As an author, she has written children’s stories, greeting cards, and helpful little booklets for parents, many of which you will find on this website.

She would like to introduce her puppet friends.

Moonworm does crafts and games
Bookworm is very smart, and knows all the answers at Buttercup Cottage.  That is because he reads, reads,reads. 
Sally Spider talks about manners, but she also watches her diet.  She follows the guidelines of the food pyramid. From the protein group she eats ants.  And from the fruit and vegetable group she likes fruit flies and bee wings.  All of this makes Penney Pennyworm  pretty sick.
Penney Prettyworm lives in a crayon box.  She loves to color, but she is always breaking her crayons, and then blames it on her friend Wriggles. Sally and Nanny are always trying to teach her better manners.
Betty Bunny has allergies, and is always sneezing.  She loves snacks, and makes them sometime with Mrs.Cookalong.  She also hates to take her medicine.
Knock Knock loves jokes, and tells them all the time.
