BREAKFAST IDEAS
Nanny says we should always eat breakfast.
She says
A healthy breakfast should contain some protein and some fiber.
Protein can come from low fat meats, eggs, beans or dairy.
Fiber can be found in whole grains, vegetables and fruits.

Kids who don't eat breakfast are less able to learn at school
Here are some ideas

Yogurt
3 small fruit pieces
a scoop of cereal
top it off with some raisins.
and there you have a delicious and nutritious breakfast!


french toast, waffles, or pancakes (whole wheat) 
cold cereal and milk
hot cereal, such as oatmeal or cream of wheat (try some dried fruit or nuts on top)
whole-grain toast, bagel, or English muffin with cheese
yogurt
 
Waffles sandwich with yogurt, applesauce, yogurt

Spread peanut butter on a whole grain tortilla, top with banana slices and roll up

*low-fat cheese melted on toast with a piece of fruit
*low-fat cream cheese on a whole-grain bagel, orange juice
*peanut butter and banana slices on an english muffin, milk

Mix yogurt with fruit or cereal

Combine 1/2 cup toasted Wheat Germ with 1/4 cup peanut butter. Spread mixture on apple slices

Combine a soft pretzel, string cheese, and fresh fruit for breakfast.

Layer  fruit yogurt; sliced fresh or canned  fruit; and crunchy cereal. Scoop into an ice cream cone


A BANANA SNAKE
Slice a banana lengthwise andput on plate.  Add some peanut butter stripes, and add 1/2 grape for eyes..
*toast an english muffin top it with a fried hard egg and cheese, maybe canadian bacon
 
*scrambled eggs, toast, orange juice
 

*veggie omelet, bran muffin, fruit with yogurt

*whole-grain pancakes or waffles topped with berries and/or yogurt, milk

*whole-wheat zucchini pancakes topped with fruit, milk

*french toast topped with fruit, orange juice or milk
