Serving cake and ice cream can be a bit tricky (and sticky) outdoors so you could subsitute: ice-cream sandwiches or bars, cupcakes, popsicles,or sno-cones.

SOME QUICK IDEAS

While seated at the table waiting for the cake, children may become restless. Try this trick:

Give each guest a pile of sugar cubes and a spoon. Set a timer, and see
how may cubes they can stack on the table in front of themselves with the spoon before the timer goes off.

FUN WATER BALLOON GAME

A family activity favorite!
You'll need:
Balloons,
a safety pin
and a faucet
Poke a hole in a balloon using a safety pin.
Then fill it with water and tie the end to create a slow leak.
Players stand in a circle and toss the balloon around. The idea is
not to be the one holding the balloon when it runs out of water

BIRTHDAY PARTY GAMES

Toilet Tssue Toss
oll of toilet tissue per team
Players stand facing each other
They toss tissue across to other team down the line until one roll is empty.
If the tissue breaks, they must go back to starting position

TISSUE PAPER RELAY
1 straw per player
1 piece of tissue paper

Players must run to finish line blowing the tissue paper with the straw

BALL TOSS
A paper towel roll per player
Small rubber ball or ping pong ball
make sure ball fits into tube)
Teams throw the ball and must catch it with the towel roll
