So you are or have just become a grandparent?

If so, you have one of life's great pleasures. Grandparents offer love, comfort and have the time and patience to lend an ear.

While many grandparents wonder what to do with their grandchildren, remember that the best gift of all is simply your time.

Your time and the positive impacts that it will have on your grandchild cannot be emphasized enough. Children who grow up constantly surrounded by love and support are more likely to feel secure and will continue to have their own healthy and love filled relationships later on in life.

 Unfortunately, many do not realize just how important time is when it comes to children.  As your grandchildren increase in age, you will want to plan fun activities, such as trips to the park or the zoo, but the best activity of all is cuddling with a good book.

As your grandchild ages, it is important that you maintain a constant presence in their life  As their grandparent it is your job to ensure they know that they are cared for and loved.

And with lots of hugs, kisses and your time, they will
grow into healthy wonderful adults.

It's a very rewarding job!
