GAMES
Have the children sit on the floor and pass around a Dreidel while music is being played.
When the music stops, whoever has the Dreidel in hand is eliminated.
Continue until one child is left.
The winner gets to keep the Dreidel.
HANUKKAH EGG GAME
Color some boiled eggs and leave one white.
Place the white egg in the center of the room and take turns to see who can roll their colored egg closest to the white egg.
ANOTHER GAME
Get a large bag of walnuts.
Draw a line a few feet away and put one nut against a wall.
Taking turns have o
One child at a time rolls a walnut and tries to hit walnut against wall.
If there's a hit, they collect all the nuts.
Hanukkah Gelt Hunt
One of the games played by Jewish families during Hanukkah involves something called gelt.
The gelt are real coins hidden by parents that the children must find.
Have a gelt hunt, but substitue foil chocolate coins for real coins.
Hide the coins around a room for the children to find.

Small Pill Bottle
Blue Felt or heavy paper
Yellow Yarn
Scissors
Glue
Sand Paper
Masking Tape
Cut a piece of felt or paper wide enough to cover the pill bottle
Cut Pieces of yarn in the shape of a Star of David for the middle of the bottle or draw with marker
If using felt cut pieces to go around the top and the bottom of the bottle, or with paper, draw line on top and bottom with marker.

small milk cartons
Push tops of milk cartons down to make boxes. Mix a little glue with paint and let children paint boxes.
Poke pencil through box from top downward so point is on bottom
