Musical Paints
Have an assortment of different colors around a table.
Music

give each child a paper plate and one paint brush. When the music begins they start around the table dipping their brushes into the paint onto the paper plate.

They paint as long as the music plays. When it stops, they pick up their pictures and move to the next color.
This continues until the children all been around the table to use every color. No winners; no losers. Every child gets to make a painting, enjoy music and get in a party mood.

SOME PARTY RELAY GAMES

COTTON BALL/SPOON RELAY
Place cotton balls at finish line
Each player takes a turn running with a spoon, picks up the cotton with the spoon (not their hand) and run back to the team to next player. First team to finish, wins.

MIXED UP SHOES RELAY
2 teams
Each team take their shoes off, put them in a pile at the finish line.
Each player takes a turn running to shoes, finding their own, fasten them, and run back to their teams.
First team to finish, wins.

FACIAL TISSUE RELAY
Give each player on each team a tissue.
They have to run to the finish line and back blowing the tissue in the air.
If the tissue falls on the floor, they can pick it up and continue

SPIN THE MESSAGE IN THE BOTTLE
Everyone sits in a circle
In the bottle are messages, and when the bottle is spun wherever it lands, that person has to take out a message and do whatever the message says.
"Pat your head"
"Spin around"
"Jump on one foot"
"Tap your head" etc.

SUMMERTIME POOL PARTY
Balloons
Small toy objects
Place the toy inside the balloon.
Fill the balloon with water, and freeze, before party cut away the balloon

For the party, the children take their "ice" to the pool, waiting for it to melt!

GUESS WHAT I AM
Cut out pictures of different animals, place in basket
Without looking, the first child takes a picture from the basket and has to mimic which animal it is.
The other children have to guess.
The child that guesses is the next "IT"
