EASY BOOKMARKS TO MAKE
An easy bookmark to make
Cut the corner of an envelope.  You can draw a picture on it to color, or
glue a photo, something from an old greeting card,
or some old stamps. 
Then hold the place of your book by sliding the bookmark onto the corner of a page.

Here's another idea!


you just need
ribbon
buttons
glue

Cut a piece of ribbon about about the length of your book.

Glue buttons on one end.  You can glue 2 together, or one on top of another. 

They are great
 gifts too!


Cut a greeting card rectangle.
Glue ribbon on other side which will hang off the top of book.



Refrigerator Note Holder
Cut out a picture from a greeting card. 
Glue to a spring type clothespin.
Glue a magnet
on the back of clothespin.

GIFT TAGS

Cut out a small picture from a greeting card.

With the point of a pencil, poke a hole in the
top of the cut out.

Slip a piece of ribbon into the hole and tie
for attaching to the gift. Write your name of
other
side.

SWITCH PLATE COVERS
Glue the front of a greeting card to a switch
 plate.

Cut to the size of the plate.

Punch out the center of plate for switch.

POST CARD
Cut off the front of a greeting card.
On other side (if blank) draw a line down the
center.
One left side write short note.  On right side
write address and place stamp on top right.

MAKE SOME EASY BOOKENDS
USE EITHER SOME OLD PHOTOGRAPHS OR OLD GREETING CARDS CUT TO SIZE OF BRICKS.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PAINT THE BRICK FIRST,
BUT THAT'S NOT NECESSARY
GLUE THE PHOTOS OR CARDS TO THE BRICK

A SNAKE MADE FROM DAD'S OLD TIES
DAD'S OLD TIE
STUFFING MATERIAL
RED FABRIC OR FELT FOR TONGUE
2 BUTTONS FOR EYES

STUFF THE TIE ALL THE WAY TO THE TIP,
PLACING STUFFING MATERIAL INSIDE THE LINING TOWARD THE "V" END
SEW OR GLUE THE FLAT END TOGETHER
GLUE ON EYES
GLUE TONGUE TO THE OTHER "v" SHAPED  END

A DECORATIVE  DRINKING STRAW

PUSH A DRINKING STRAW THROUGH A  SMALL STYROFOAM BALL.
SMEAR GLUE OVER THE BALL AND DECORATE
WITH SEQUINS, BUTTONS, RIBBON, ETC.
 
 

PAINT ROLLER
PUT WATER COLOR OR WASHABLE PAINT INSIDE
OLD DEODORANT BOTTLE.
THEN ROLL ONTO PAPER

COOKIE SHEET MAGNET BOARD
PROP UP A COOKIE SHEET
GLUE MAGNETS ONTO THE BACK OF CUT OUT MAGAZINE OR FELT PIECES

LITTLE PEOPLE
GLUE A LARGE WOODEN BEAD ON TOP OF AN
EMPTY SPOOL OF THREAD. 
PAINT OR CUT OUT PIECES OF FABRIC FOR
CLOTHING

CATCHERS MITT
STICK SELF ADHESIVE STRIPS OF VELCRO ON
 CATCHERS MITT
USE STYROFOAM BALL TO CATCH.
 
                                                                                                               


PLAYING CARD HOLDER

2 margarine lids
Glue 1/2 of lids
together
Decorate with
markers if
you wish.
Use the open half of
the lids for holding
cards in place

ANOTHER HOLDER
A snack holder  clip for chips and pretzels holds playing cards secure

GRASS HEAD
One leg of a pair of old pantyhose
Some soil
grass seed
Wiggly eyes
Felt
Rubber band

Cut leg small
Place soil inside
and put in grass seed
Secure bottom with rubber band

Put on wiggly eyes, add mouth, nose with felt.

Place bottom of soil in small bowl with water.

Now watch your guy's hair grow!




THE SUN
you will need:
*a paper plate
*2 buttons
*construction or regular paper

Make 5 or 6 drawings of your hand on yellow or orange construction paper.  Color the plate yellow or orange.

Paste hands all around the back of the plate
Glue  on buttons for eyes
